My name is Maiya Kay. I live in Dallas, TX and attend Highland Park High School. I've played ECNL soccer in North Texas for the past four years and currently play for Sting Dallas Black ECNL 2010G. My primary position is holding midfield, and I also serve as a co-captain of our team. My on-field strengths include sound technical skills, vision, decision-making, and work rate. Beyond soccer, I am also a dedicated student. I am currently in the top 5% of my Sophomore Class with a 4.4 GPA taking all AP, Honors, and TAG courses. I am excited to learn more about colleges and universities where I can continue to grow personally and academically, while also continuing to play soccer at a high level. Off the field, I xxxxx. I also work out with a local strength coach to support my health and to prevent injuries.

I'm currently in my third year with Sting Black. Our team plays in a very competitive conference, and every game is a battle. Last year, we finished the regular season with an 8-5-2 record, good enough for 7th place out of 16 teams and missing the Champions League by one point. We earned a trip to ECNL Playoffs in San Diego, where we won four straight games to win the U15 ECNL North American Cup Championship!
This season we finished the Fall portion of our schedule with a record of 4-2-5, only allowing six goals in eleven league games. We have four league matches left in the Spring which will determine our final placement for playoffs. We'll also be participating in three Showcases this Spring: ECNL Dallas in February, ECNL Phoenix in March, and ECNL North Carolina in May before ECNL Playoffs in Seattle in July.
